Je m’appelle Laura Cox, j’ai 22 ans et je suis passionnée par la guitare et la musique... C'est toute ma vie. J’en joue depuis 8 ans maintenant, et je me suis également mise au chant plus ou moins en même temps, pour m'accompagner, pour composer plus facilement, et par plaisir, évidemment.

Mon style varie beaucoup ; ça va de la Country au Hard Rock, et c'est ça qui me plaît! Mes influences m'ont été transmises par mon père anglais, que je remercie infiniment.

Il y a quelques années, j’ai découvert Kristen Stewart (avec Twilight, comme la plupart des gens!), puis je me suis intéressée aux autres films dans lesquels elle a pu jouer, en particulier The Runaways, Into the Wild, On the Road, etc...

Concernant la création de « Kristen Stewart in my Band », il y a quelques mois, mon copain m’a dit avoir lu dans une interview que Kristen aimerait faire partie d’un groupe, et que la musique représentait beaucoup pour elle. Il m’a proposé d’en faire une chanson ; quelque chose de léger, d’entrainant, de décalé, et surtout à ne pas prendre au premier degré! Et c’est donc de là qu’est venue l’idée. Quelques jours plus tard, la chanson était terminée ! C'était vraiment motivant et amusant... J'en garde un super souvenir.

J’espère qu’elle plaira aux fans, comme aux personnes qui n’ont jamais entendu parler d’elle (même si ça doit être rare!). Ce qui est sûr, c’est que nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à écrire et composer cette chanson, et nous espérons pouvoir transmettre ça à tout le monde!

En tout cas, je ne sais pas si ça arrivera, mais ce serait super que Kristen l’entende et puisse me dire ce qu’elle en pense...

En attendant, je vais continuer à composer avec mon copain, à rôder mon groupe, nos chansons, pour ensuite commencer les concerts, les enregistrements, etc..

J'ai la chance d'avoir eu un certain succès grâce à mes vidéos postées sur Youtube ces dernières années, et je croise les doigts pour que tout cela continue.

The little story of ''Kristen Stewart in my band'' :

I’m Laura Cox, I’m 22 and guitar is my passion. It’s all my life. I’ve been playing for 8 years, then I started singing too, and writing my own songs.

I play Country, Blues, Rock and Hard Rock... That’s the kind of music I like, thanks to my father who made me listen to good music when I was little!

A few years ago, I discovered Kristen Stewart (in “Twilight”, like everybody else!), then I got interested in her other movies, like “The Runaways”, “Into the Wild”, “On the Road”, etc.

Concerning the song “Kristen Stewart in my band”, my boyfriend told me a few months ago that he read an interview in which Kristen said she would like to be in a band, and that music meant a lot to her.

He suggested me to make a song about it, something stirring, something fun, something that shouldn’t be taken seriously! It all came from here... And a couple of days later, the song was finished! I had a really good time making it!

I hope fans will like it, as well as people who never heard of Kristen Stewart (is this possible??).

Anyway, we had a lot of fun writing this song, and we just hope people will feel the same way listening to it!

I don’t know if it’ll happen, but I’d be really happy if Kristen listened to the song, and told me what she thought of it...

In the mean time, I’ll keep writing songs with my boyfriend, practicing, start touring and recording, etc.

I had the chance to be quite “successful” on Youtube, and I just wish it’s going to last!
